Show length: Each show lasts about 2 1/2 hours, made up of two sets and an intermission. Stage/Tech Needs: We are flexible. We can perform on full sized theatrical stages as well as the floor of a club, attached is a sheet detailing our technical needs. We use a live band so venue must supply sound system and operator. Light needs are simple, simple wash of the whole stage, and no technician is absolutely necessary. Preparation: As SHFB is a theatrical show we prefer to set up 3 hours before curtain. Green Room: A secure and clean dressing room close to the stage is ideal. For venues with no dressing area, we use our bus. In that case we prefer being able to park the bus close to a stage door or exit. Audience: In areas we've been performing in for more than 3 years (Midwest) we average 300-400 per show at a $20 ticket. In the South and Midwest, we draw on average 150-200 at a $10 ticket. Special Needs: As we are a larger show we prefer not to share the bill with other acts, we instead find local burlesque performers to guest star in the show and help with local promotions. We much prefer to eat than drink beer, if we can forego drink deals in favor of a meal you would have our undying love forever. Show Size: Fluctuates but you can plan on us having a total size (cast/band/crew) of 15 Breakdown: We will need an hour after the show to breakdown. Marketing: Marketing: SHFB will provide the venue/agent with marketing materials that include poster design, press release, banners, buttons, photos, and etcetera. SHFB will run ads on its 8,000 name mailing list, Facebook and twitter, website, and use of local burlesque performers of support.
